Liverpool made a move to strengthen their attack in the summer transfer window.

They managed to bring in Diogo Jota from Wolves for a fee of £45m, and he will add depth to the front line behind the fabled trio of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, and Sadio Mane.

Jota made his debut against Arsenal and scored the third goal in a 3-1 win, marking his first game in spectacular style.

However, it appears that manager Jurgen Klopp still wants to bring in reinforcements.

Liverpool, after all, only signed three first-team players; Jota included, they also added Thiago Alcantara and Konstantinos Tsimikas to the squad.

And it seems that Klopp wants to bring in a potentially huge addition in the January transfer window.

Sport Witness carries a report from Mundo Deportivo, claiming that the German is keen on raiding Wolves again to sign Adama Traore.

The wide-man has enjoyed a rapid rise, making 95 appearances in total for Wolves and scoring seven goals, while also providing 15 assists.

And the report claims that Klopp is keen to bring him to Anfield, though Wolves will drive a hard bargain.

They are said to be demanding €70m (£63.3m) to allow the Spaniard to move on.

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…

This could help Liverpool form a truly frightening front line.

Traore is absolutely rapid and would offer a nice alternative to both Salah and Mane.

It remains to be seen, though, if he would be able to force his way straight into the starting XI, but at such a potential fee, one has to imagine that he will get plenty of minutes.

Liverpool probably don’t need to strengthen their attack as much as other teams but Klopp clearly thinks that depth is king.

When it comes to winning league titles and other trophies, he isn’t wrong.
