Kylian Mbappe is a superstar.

The PSG ace has been nothing short of a sensation since bursting onto the scene in the 2015/16 season.

He started his career at AS Monaco, of course, as he scored 27 goals and laid on 16 assists in 60 appearances.

A move to PSG followed, initially on loan, and then for a fee of £165.7m, and he has repaid every single penny.

Mbappe has made 127 appearances for PSG, scoring 92 goals and laying on 55 assists while forming a remarkable partnership with Brazilian superstar Neymar.

Across his 36 caps for France, he has scored 14 goals there, too, including a strike in the World Cup final against Croatia, as Les Bleus won 4-2.

Yep, the 21-year-old is a World Cup winner too.

And it seems his future lies away from the French giants, and there are a queue of clubs lining up to sign him.

Sport Witness carries a report from AS, and it is claimed that he is tempted by the idea of joining Liverpool and linking up with Jurgen Klopp.

Barcelona have also expressed an interest, but Klopp is said to “dream” of signing the Frenchman, who is valued at a staggering £162m by Transfermarkt.

Nevertheless, the German has already conceded defeat, as he knows Liverpool are unlikely to be able to compete with Real Madrid; Klopp has “assumed” he is set to move to the Bernabeu.

The Liga winners are currently leading the race, given that Mbappe is keen to play under Zinedine Zidane, but the report claims Real will only sign him if “no mistakes are made”.

That leaves a slight glimmer of hope for Klopp and Liverpool but, at this point, it seems Real are edging ever closer to another Galactico signing.

GIVEMESPORT’S Harry Sherlock says…

Mbappe is probably the most wanted man in Europe among elite clubs.

While he has not won the Champions League in Paris, he has achieved pretty much everything else – he has won Ligue 1 four times, including once with Monaco – and, at the age of 21, he is yet to peak.

It is no surprise that Real, Barca, and Liverpool are all interested, and he would be a staggering signing for any of the three.

Just imagine if he moved to Anfield, where he could link up with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Thiago Alcantara, and Roberto Firmino.

It is a mouthwatering prospect.

Alas, it seems Klopp has precious little chance of taking him to Merseyside, but they will need to be alert, just in case talks with Real do break down.
