Tottenham Hotspur are hoping for a big season in the Premier League.
Last season was nothing short of a disaster by recent standards as Spurs failed to live up to expectation.
The previous campaign has seen the north London club reach the Champions League final and the hope was that this could be followed up by winning some silverware.
Not only did that not happen, but their Premier League form suffered as well.
Despite expectations to reach the top four, Jose Mourinho could only drag the club into the top six in the league.
But there's no getting away from the fact that this isn't good enough.
Spurs have made plenty of new signings over the summer as they look to get themselves back on track.
With that the club have made a decent start to the season and find themselves in sixth place after four games.
The hope now is that the club can kick on and try to establish themselves in the league's top four.
If that's to happen the club will need all of their players fighting fit, but unfortunately one key star looks set for a spell on the sidelines.
Sky Sports reported that Eric Dier was suffering with a hamstring injury which he picked up on international duty with England, and according to Alex McLeish, this could lead him to him missing Sunday's clash with West Ham.
McLeish told Football Insider: “He seems to be an integral part of Jose’s plans as we’ve seen in this season’s opening games.
“To get a hamstring nick, you would think that that would be looking at two weeks at least, possibly a month. Hamstrings are very, very awkward muscle strains and if Dier has, if it’s only a tweak they’ll assess that.
“I think when you’re talking about hamstrings, he’ll definitely miss the next game.”

Eric Dier has been a key player for Jose Mourinho so far this term as he takes on the role of a central defender in his system.
While the severity of his hamstring injury remains to be seen, it's known that injuries to that area can prove tricky to recover from and that's why he could be set for a spell on the sidelines.
Joe Rodon did complete his move to the club on deadline day but won't be ready to feature against West Ham, meaning that Mourinho could have an issue if Dier isn't passed fit.
