Liverpool hit the front once again with 18 minutes to go through Mohamed Salah, only for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to head home and set up a grand slam finish.And it all kicked off with five minutes to go.Richarlison received his marching orders for a horrendous challenge on Thiago late on.And Liverpool thought they had struck the winner in stoppage time, only for Mane to be controversially ruled out for offside.It really was a thrilling game with no shortage of controversy.
Richarlison was the only man sent off in the game, but it could be perceived that Mane was lucky to still be on the pitch.Mane had been tussling with Yerry Mina all game.And, after the two challenged for the ball late on, Mane slyly decided to take revenge.Mina's heavy challenge left Mane on the floor. A Mina walked past, Mane stuck out a leg and took down his opponent in revenge. Watch the moment below:
The Senegalese international then turned to Mina and urged him to get up. Very cheeky.
That is a bit silly from Mane, though. He was already on a booking as well, which makes his actions that little bit more reckless.
Fortunately for him though, Richarlison's challenge on Thiago occurred just seconds later, meaning VAR was preoccupied with that incident.
He can consider himself a lucky boy. Should the referee seen his actions and the Richarlison tackle not happened, he would very likely have been sent off.
