Manchester United have endured a tough campaign so far.
After dealing with off-field incidents involving the likes of Harry Maguire and Mason Greenwood the hope was that the club could kick on and bring football to the fore once again.
Unfortunately that hasn't happened.
A disappointing transfer window saw United sign Donny van de Beek over the course of the summer, before doing deals for the likes of Alex Telles, Facundo Pellistri and Edinson Cavani.
While those deals showed a level of productivity in the transfer market, there's no question among supporters that they weren't exactly the sort of high-calibre players that United had hoped for.
Results on the pitch haven't been much better.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have won just two of their four games so far in the Premier League leaving them in 15th place in the table.
Things aren't exactly going smoothly, and it seems that things are only going to get worse.
Reports from the Metro have claimed that Eric Bailly faces a spell on the sidelines.
The defender has suffered a muscle injury which could keep him out of action for up to a month.
That means that he could miss games against Chelsea, RB Leipzig, Arsenal, Istanbul Basaksehir and Everton.

Things just seem to be going from bad to worse for Manchester United.
The season hasn't got off to the ideal start for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side and that will be concerning.
It was hoped that the club would challenge for the Premier League title this term, and while it's early days, it's certainly been a less than convincing start.
Eric Bailly's injury certainly doesn't help.
I'm not claiming that the centre-back is among the most essential players for the Red Devils - far from it.
But with options limited at the back it could cause a problem moving forward.
United need to start picking up clean sheets and so to lose a first team defender is a sizeable blow.
It means that the pressure is now on Axel Tuanzebe to step up.
The 22-year-old has impressed in recent games which means that he could be called upon to be a first team regular in the coming weeks.
Who knows, if he impresses then he could be the solution to United's long-running defensive woes.
