Mesut Ozil will likely never play for Arsenal again after being left out of their squads for both the Premier League and the Europa League. He sent an emotional statement earlier this week where he expressed his disappointment that his eight-year stay at the club is coming to an end. While he won't be playing, he showed he still loves the club with his twitter activity during Arsenal's game against Rapid Vienna. The German sent a series of tweets as the Gunners pulled off a comeback win.Ozil began by declaring that he thought Arsenal would win 4-1, predicting goals from Sead Kolasinac, Mohamed Elneny, Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe.

He mocked himself by posting a GIF of him in an Arsenal shirt sitting at his computer.

He teased former teammate, Petr Cech, as Rapid Vienna's goalkeeper was also wearing a protective helmet.

He gave his side a message of support as they went into the break goalless.

Ozil tweeted Bernd Leno after his howler gave the Austrian side the lead.

He expressed his delight when David Luiz headed home Nicolas Pepe's free-kick.

The 32-year-old then went crazy as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came off the bench to tap home the winner with 15 minutes remaining.

And he signed off by congratulating him team and giving his four contenders for Man of the Match.

He certainly made Twitter an interesting place, with talkSPORT host Adrian Durham claiming he was Arsenal's Man of the Match.

He may not be playing at the moment, but Arsenal clearly still has a place in Ozil's heart.

It's a shame that his Arsenal career is coming to an end this way, but it's good to see he is still passionate and wants the team to succeed without him.
