Arsenal's start to the 2020/21 season has been rather underwhelming.
The Gunners have lost three of their first six Premier League games, their most recent defeat coming at home to Leicester City last Sunday night.
Mikel Arteta's side looked bereft of ideas against the Foxes at the Emirates and were eventually caught out by a swift counter-attack from the visitors, which was finished brilliantly by Jamie Vardy.
The Gunners are in the midst of a transitional phase following last season's sacking of Unai Emery and there is still a lot of support for Arteta from fans despite Arsenal's shaky start to the campaign.
Many believe the Spaniard is the man that can take the club back into the Champions League, but his record thus far in the hot seat is certainly not the greatest.
Arteta has now been in charge of Arsenal for 26 Premier League games and in that time, he's mustered just 12 wins.
In Emery's first 26 league games in north London, the Gunners recorded 15 wins, attempting more shots and having more possession in the process.

The only area in which Arteta has instigated an improvement is with regards to goals conceded. Everywhere else, Emery reigns supreme.

Once again, Emery dominates in the offensive departments, while Arteta's Arsenal have shown far more defensive resilience.
It's glaringly obvious, the current manager needs to work on getting more output from his attacking department as a matter of urgency.
However, while the stats from Arteta's reign as manager aren't exactly great, the Spaniard has already won silverware at the club after less than a year in charge.
The Gunners were victorious in last season's FA Cup and also beat Liverpool in the Community Shield back in August.
Arsenal are also far more competitive in games against top teams, while the signings of Gabriel Magalhaes and Thomas Partey have helped create a solid spine within the team.
But unless Arteta's side start creating more chances and scoring more goals, the manager's critics will only increase in number.
