Son Heung-Min has been in exceptional form for Tottenham Hotspur this season.
The South Korea international has exploded this season, emerging as a genuinely world class talent in north London.
He is, at this point, the top scorer in the Premier League, having scored eight goals in six games.
That includes a four-goal haul against Southampton, in a 5-2 victory, and he has scored four goals in his last three games, including the winner against Burnley on Monday evening.
The form of Son, and that of Harry Kane, who has eight assists to his name, has increased hopes at Spurs that they can end a trophy drought that stretches back to 2008.
They have not won the Premier League title in the modern era but with both Kane and Son seemingly at the peak of their powers, anything could be possible.
Sky Sports pundit and Manchester United legend Gary Neville has hailed the South Korea international, who he believes remains underrated by fans and pundits alike.
Speaking on Monday Night Football, as quoted by Metro, he said: “I think Son is so underrated and he doesn’t get the glitz of some of the other top players in the league.
“He is an absolutely amazing player Son, he is a brilliant player. It’d be a nightmare to play against him he makes all the right runs.
“You talk about (Raheem) Sterling regularly, we talk about (Sadio) Mane and (Mohamed) Salah at Liverpool, he’s right there with them. If he was at Liverpool or City he’d be doing what those lads are doing.”
His co-presenter, Jamie Carragher, echoed his sentiments, insisting that he could be a top target for both City and Liverpool if they did lose any of their top stars.
He added: “If Sterling or Mane left one of those clubs you’d think Son would be one of the first players Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp would go for.”

It’s about time Son got the recognition he so clearly deserves.
This is an elite talent, and right now, he is one of the best attackers not just in the Premier League but in the world.
This season, he has been electric but he has hit double figures in the Premier League in every season bar his first in England back in 2015/16.
He is valued at £67.5m by Transfermarkt and one has to feel that, in this form, he walks into any team in world football.
With him and Kane in the same team, there is absolutely nothing stopping Spurs from finally ending that 12-year dry spell.
