Dereck Chisora weighed in at close to three stone heavier than opponent Oleksandr Usyk, ahead of the duo's Halloween heavyweight showdown on Saturday night.

The Briton tipped the scales at 18st 3lbs 8oz (255.5lbs) at Friday's weigh-in - five pounds lighter than his last fight - with Chisora bedecked in white body paint for fright night this weekend.

Coming across as something between a ghost and Heath Ledger's famous Joker visage, with his trademark 'War' emblazoned on his chest, the Zimbabwean-born Londoner was once more full and in the Ukrainian's face.

The bout takes place at Wembley Arena, having originally been postponed from the O2 Arena back in May, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The 36-year-old comes into the fight almost 10 pounds heavier than when he lost to Dillian Whyte in their 2018 rematch.

Usyk meanwhile, followed in at 15st 7lbs 4oz (217.25lbs) - a career heaviest - as the Ukrainian competes in his second heavyweight fight since moving up from cruiserweight last year.

The undefeated, former undisputed champion made his debut in the division last September, forcing Chazz Witherspoon to retire in his corner after round 7.

Chisora, in his 42nd professional fight, is looking to edge toward one final title shot, after an 11th-round KO to Dillian Whyte two years ago.

After victories over Senad Gashi and Artur Szplika, Chisora most recently stopped David Price 12 months ago in London.

As Daniel Dubois and Joe Joyce clash in their highly-anticipated bout next month, the heavyweight division is set for a further two players to be added to an increasingly sizzling division.

Usyk has been touted as the next big thing in the weight class, but in his 18th career fight, the big-punching and awkward Chisora, will be his biggest test by far.
