However, after over seven months of waiting to see the conclusion of the Six Nations, due to the tournament finale was postponed by to the onset of the coronavirus, it’s going to go down right to the wire.

Now all the English can do is wait as France tackle Ireland in the late kick-off.

Ireland set the standard last week as they put in a stellar performance against Italy coasting to a 50-17 win in Dublin.

The 2018 Grand Slam winners will go into their clash against France full of confidence off the back of that.

However, England’s win against Italy means that Ireland must win in Paris if they are to have any hopes of winning the Six Nations themselves.

This might be a big ask for the Irish, who have only managed to win three of their last 10 matches against France in Paris.

It promises to be a dramatic evening.
