Paul Pogba's ill-discipline. #OleOut trending on Twitter. Another unwanted record. It was a full house for Manchester United bingo as the Red Devils continued their poor start to the season against Arsenal.

The Gunners' 1-0 victory was their first at Old Trafford in 14 years and came courtesy of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's penalty.

Hector Bellerin earned the spot-kick when he was felled by Pogba and Aubameyang's conversion was no less than his side deserved.

Arsenal deserve plaudits, but much of the attention will focus on United's shortcomings in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's 100th game in charge.

The decision to bench Donny van de Beek in favour of Scott McTominay and Fred particularly backfired.

Once again, the question is how a side who beat PSG and mauled RB Leipzig in the Champions League are so below par in domestic football right now.

United sit 15th in the table and have not won at home in the league in the 2020/21 campaign.

Equally concerning is that an attack featuring Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and latterly, Edinson Cavani, drew another blank.

So far at home this season, United have lost 1-3 to Crystal Palace, been annihilated 6-1 by Tottenham, drawn 0-0 with Chelsea, and now lost 1-0 to Arsenal.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the players who have scored in a league game at the Theatre of Dreams in that period:

  • Wilfried Zaha (2)
  • Harry Kane (2)
  • Son Heung-min (2)
  • Serge Aurier (1)
  • Andros Townsend (1)
  • Donny van de Beek (1)
  • Tanguy Ndombele (1)
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (1)
  • Bruno Fernandes (1)

Now that is not pretty reading for Solskjaer at all.

Not one United player has scored more than a single league goal at home and Fernandes' was a penalty against Spurs.

Rashford, of course, hit a hat-trick in the Champions League in midweek but was once again frustrated by Gabriel and Rob Holding.

At the other end, the spotlight has often fallen on United's centre-backs, particularly Harry Maguire.

The concern, looking at the cold hard facts, is that Solskjaer's men aren't firing on all cylinders up front either.

And whether it's Maguire or Pogba who is made scapegoat, nobody is pulling their weight right now.
