Conor McGregor opened himself up in a Twitter Q&A to his 8.3 million followers, and answered a particular question by stating he believes he will be a billionaire by the time he's 35.

McGregor, who is a former UFC Champion at both featherweight and lightweight weight classes, is currently 32-years-old with an estimated net worth of around £100 million.

While the Irishman has made a significant amount of his fortune from his professional career, raking in a hefty £80 million in his only boxing match against Floyd Mayweather in 2017, several other investments fill up the pot.

The Notorious has endorsement deals with Burger King, Beats by Dre, Monster Energy and sportswear giant Reebok. He also has a clothing deal with designer David August, titled August McGregor, famous for the fighter's pinstripe suit which read "F*** YOU" running down it.

But McGregor's most famous investment is his Proper 12 Irish Whiskey, which brought in £750 million in its first year. The whiskey was also the main sponsor at the Fury v Wilder 2 boxing event in 2018.

Should McGregor join the billionaire club, he would be the sixth sportsperson to do so and would join an illustrious list which includes the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and former opponent Mayweather.

While he hasn't fought since he beat Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds earlier at the start of this year, the 26-4 fighter looks set to return next in 2021 with a fight against Dustin Poirier lined up.

McGregor also recognised Nate Diaz as his most difficult opponent in the same Q&A. The pair have fought twice before, Diaz winning the first fight via submission in what was McGregor's welterweight debut.

However, the Notorious exacted his revenge five months later, winning the fight by decision. Although there hasn't been a third fight so far, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the trilogy completed before either of the fighters retire.
