Lokomotiv's Anton Miranchuk converted the penalty, cancelling out Jose Gimenez's opening goal of the evening.

Suarez himself then had a glorious chance to put the Spanish side ahead towards the end of the first half, but he managed to prod his effort wide when it looked easier to score.

Suarez's miss

Suarez had a goal ruled out for offside in the second half, while his strike partner Joao Felix also came close on a number of occasions after the break.
