As Conor McGregor prepares for a potential rematch against Dustin Poirier, the former two-division UFC Champion took to Instagram to begin promoting himself ahead of the highly anticipated fight.

While the bout is yet to be officially announced, UFC boss Dana White seems to think it's a done deal, stating: "The fight's done, I think so, yeah. As far as I know it's done.”

From what we know, the fight is scheduled to take place in January 2021.

With that news out following UFC Vegas 12, the internet wars have begun, and McGregor started things off with a video compilation of his best UFC moments, highlighting why he should still be one of the most feared MMA fighters in the world.

The Instagram video contains some memorable McGregor moments, including his KO wins over Eddie Alvarez, Jose Aldo, Chad Mendes, Poirier and Marcus Brimage.

The Irishman dropping Nate Diaz, as well as highlights from his last UFC fight and victory against Donald Cerrone, are also noteworthy moments from the video.

The Cerrone fight in January 2020 was the last time McGregor got in the octagon, and after announcing his ‘retirement’ in June, many questioned whether he would return to UFC.

As the supposed January 2021 fight date edges closer, we will more than likely see McGregor in the octagon at least one more time.

The Irishman also took to Twitter to hint at fighting Nate Diaz and completing their trilogy in the near future, which ultimately gives fans no reason to believe McGregor is done with the promotion just yet.

Meanwhile, McGregor's out-of-the-octagon exploits really seem to be paying off as well, with the superstar declaring this week that he fully expects to be a billionaire by the time he is 35.
