Neil Lennon was attacked by a fan at Tynecastle as Celtic kept their Clydesdale Bank Premier League title hopes alive with a win over Hearts
Following Gary Hooper's second goal in the 49th minute a supporter came out of the main stand to grapple with the Parkhead boss and was marched away by police when the ensuing melee ended.
Trouble then broke out in the Celtic section of the ground between fans and police and after Kris Commons grabbed the third in the 77th minute he was sent off for leaving the field of play in celebration, having been booked moments earlier for simulation.
It was the second sending-off of the game after Jambos midfielder David Obua was red-carded before half-time. The result sees Celtic go into the final game of the season one point behind Old Firm rivals Rangers.
