The first half of Man City vs Liverpool was frantic.The Reds took the lead early on when Mohamed Salah converted from the penalty spot.But Man City came roaring back and notched an equaliser after great work from Gabriel Jesus.And Pep Guardiola's side had a golden opportunity to take the lead when they were given a penalty of their own.Joe Gomez was controversially penalised for handball, giving Kevin De Bruyne the opportunity to score from the spot.Kyle Walker felled Sadio Mane in the box during Man City v LiverpoolBut he inexplicably put his spot-kick wide.Roy Keane was watching on from the Sky Sports studios and he absolutely tore into Kyle Walker at half-time.Walker gave away a penalty for tripping Sadio Mane and Keane was not impressed.When asked how Mane won the penalty by Dave Jones, Keane replied: "Because he's up against an idiot."Kyle Walker... people keep telling me he's playing well. I don't think so. I think this guy is 30 years old, an international player... but he's a car crash."He makes these types of mistakes and he's rightly punished for it."Watch his comments below:

Tell us how you really feel, Roy. You wouldn't expect anything less from Keane, who goes on rants about players on a regular basis.

But, to be honest, we think Keane has been a bit harsh on Walker here.

He's been a very good defender for the past decade and he continues to play at a high level for Man City.

Yes, his challenge on Mane during Sunday's game was not very smart at all and he deserves to be criticised for that.

But calling him an 'idiot' and a 'car crash' for his recent form is just extremely harsh.

Still, Keane's comments made for some great TV.
