The rescheduled Euro 2020 is set to take place next summer.

European football's biggest international tournament had to be postponed this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Whether fans will be allowed to attend games is still unknown, but with elite-level football continuing throughout newly-imposed lockdowns across the continent, it's highly unlikely Euro 2020 will be called off again.

So with that in mind, it's time to start thinking about the 23-man squads each nation will pick for the tournament.

England manager Gareth Southgate will have some big calls to make, especially given the wealth of options available to him in various departments.

Southgate on the touchline

There a few players that are nailed on to make the squad, but there are also a number places up for grabs.

Below, we've provided what Southgate's Euro 2020 England squad would be if it was picked right now, featuring players with the shortest odds at the bookies.

Info courtesy of Betting Odds.

Goalkeepers:

Jordan Pickford (1/20)

Dean Henderson (1/8)

Nick Pope (1/5)

Pickford with England

Defenders:

Trent Alexander-Arnold (1/12)

Kyle Walker (5/4)

John Stones (4/6)

Harry Maguire (1/10)

Joe Gomez (1/6)

Conor Coady (1/1)

Ben Chilwell (1/8)

Kieran Trippier (5/4)

Stones & Maguire with England

Midfielders:

Jordan Henderson (1/10)

James Maddison (1/2)

Declan Rice (1/4)

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain (4/7)

Mason Mount (4/7)

Phil Foden (4/7)

Rice & Henderson with England

Forwards:

Raheem Sterling (1/16)

Harry Kane (1/ 12)

Jadon Sancho (1/12)

Marcus Rashford (1/12)

Mason Greenwood (4/7)

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (4/6)

Sancho, Kane & Sterling with England

The biggest names absent are Tammy Abraham, Reece James, Tyrone Mings and Jack Grealish, the latter missing out to the likes of Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mount and Maddison - ridiculous.

Stones over Mings is a strange one too, given that the Manchester City man rarely ever plays for his club these days.

Betting Odds have also provided the info on what the bookies believe will be England's starting XI for Euro 2020.

Stones starting at Euro 2020? That's what the bookies are saying.

We've also got the odds for uncapped players with the best outside chance of making Southgate's squad.

Uncapped odds:

Aaron Wan Bissaka (2/1)

Ben White (3/1)

Jude Bellingham (3/1)

Aaron Ramsdale (4/1)

Brandon Williams (5/1)

Ollie Watkins (6/1)

Tariq Lamptey (6/1)

Mason Holgate (8/1)

Axel Tuanzebe (10/1)

Sean Longstaff (12/1)

Bellingham with England's U21 side

Bellingham is likely to earn his first cap for England this international break after receiving a call up from Southgate to replace James Ward-Prowse.

However, the 17-year-old is highly unlikely to make the Three Lions' Euro 2020 squad regardless.

Ben White or Mason Holgate over Stones wouldn't be the worst shout, though...
