Aston Villa's turnaround since the climax of last season has been remarkable.
Dean Smith's men looked down and out, they were being beaten on a regular basis but courtesy of a major miracle, they stayed in the division.
The Villans predominantly have lockdown to thank for their good fortunes on the pitch. Smith was able to reset his player's attitudes and now they look like a force to be reckoned with.
From the goal that was never given against Sheffield United to beating Arsenal at Villa Park, everything seem to fall for them in the final weeks of the 2019/20 season.
Indeed, they are finding a similar level of fortune this term.
They demolished Liverpool 7-2 in one of the Premier League's most incredible results before beating the Gunners again.
This time the win was even more impressive, defeating Arsenal 3-0 in their own backyard.
The effervescent trio of Jack Grealish, Ross Barkley and John McGinn ran the show alongside the two-goal Ollie Watkins.
However, former Everton and Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell thought it was Grealish who stood out the most. He made a rather incredible prediction, stating that two of the best clubs in world football would be after his signature.
He told Football Insider:
"On that performance the other night I think Real Madrid and Barcelona will be looking at him."
"Arsenal made him look fantastic but I am not taking anything away from Jack Grealish because he is a superb player.
“He has been the form guy for Aston Villa and it was virtually a one-man show last season."
GIVEMESPORT'S Matt Dawson says...
This is quite the take from Campbell but there is a logic to his madness.
Grealish has very quickly become one of the most exciting players in the top-flight and his performance against Arsenal a few days ago was evidence that he can perform on the big stage.
During the course of that win for Villa, the England international picked up one assist while attempting five shots at goal.
Grealish also performed two key passes and two dribbles, as well as drawing four fouls from the Arsenal defence.
This was a performance that felt like a coming of age display. Everyone knows what the winger is capable of but this was arguably his best top-flight outing to date.
The 25-year-old has been touted with an £80m switch away in the past and on this evidence, it's unsurprising that kind of price tag has been branded.
- Arsenal fans were full of praise for Grealish after losing
- Man Utd could re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo
- The Premier League's top 10 in every position rated by fans
