Tony Khan promised to 'shift the balance of power' in wrestling on Wednesday night's AEW Dynamite. The promotion's CEO and GM tweeted:"For the rest of 2020, AEW will keep delivering great matches on Wednesday Nights and there are massive surprises ahead!"Please join us on TNT, the balance of power in wrestling will shift tonight." Naturally, that sparked a wave of hype ahead of this week's Dynamite, with many fans speculating about possible debuts from the likes of CM Punk and Brock Lesnar. But the reality of the situation could be much different because AEW are teasing an appearance from NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal. Yes, really. During Wednesday's show, Cody - who last week lost the TNT Championship - came to the ring to talk about getting another shot at MJF. Rhodes spoke in the ring before being interruptedBut while speaking, he was interrupted by Jade Cargill, who was making her AEW debut. She called Rhodes a 'liar' and suggesting his 'giant killer' moniker is a joke, because he knows nothing about giants. Cargill then claimed she knows one giant, and his name is - you guessed it - 'Shaq'. Check out the clip AEW shared below:

As you can see, AEW are heavily teasing that this 'Shaq' really is the one and only Shaquille O'Neal.

They tagged the NBA legend in the tweet and let's be honest, how many other 'giants' do we know named Shaq?

If this is a swerve, AEW will leave a lot of fans upset. But all signs point to O'Neal, who has previous in wrestling, with WWE

Shaq has been in the squared circle before

The basketball icon was a surprise entrant in WrestleMania 32's Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal back in 2016 and has previously said he wants to wrestle Cody in AEW.

All signs are pointing to a massive feud between the pair.
