For the first time ever, Manchester United go into Women's Football Weekend top of the FA WSL.

Last weekend's victory over Arsenal - a club first against one of the big three - is testament to the progress made under Casey Stoney.

However, United have it all to do to remain top as they face Manchester City on Saturday.

In fact, it will be a weekend of derbies with Aston Villa meeting Birmingham City and Arsenal looking to get back to winning ways against Chelsea.

With the men's Premier League on hiatus during the international break, as ever Women's Football Weekend is all about maximising coverage and drawing in fans.

So who is there to look out for, and who has been starring in the Women's Super League? Above all, who is set to win GIVEMESPORT Fans' Player of the Month?

Here's the lowdown on all six nominees.

Lucy Graham (Everton)

While the current month began with heartache in the FA Cup final and a 4-0 defeat to Chelsea, Graham was instrumental in the league for Everton in September and October, playing a starring role in the 3-1 win over West Ham.

Chloe Kelly (Manchester City)

Kelly was about the only woman not to get on the scoresheet in the 8-1 win over Bristol City, but she did find the back of the net against old club Everton and with a penalty against Chelsea. A brace against Tottenham at the start of October was one of her finest performances yet this term.

Ella Toone (Manchester United)

Tobin Heath and Christen Press have also been in impressive form but Toone's goals have been key to United's rise to the top of the league.

Beth England (Chelsea)

England scored in Chelsea's 9-0 win over Bristol City, but she's contributed more than goals over the last few months. The 26-year-old has been central to a free-scoring Blues' attack and she's continued that form into this month too.

Caitlin Foord (Arsenal)

Foord has always struggled for consistency. That looks to be changing this season, with the Arsenal forward flourishing under Joe Montemurro's guidance.

Vivianne Miedema (Arsenal)

Who else? Miedema's goals have been a little top heavy - she scored a hat-trick against Tottenham and braces against West Ham and Brighton. The Dutch striker has been in characteristically scintillating form nonetheless.
