Seth Rollins is currently involved in one of WWE's most exciting storylines.

The 'Messiah' - who was recently traded from RAW to SmackDown - is feuding with the Mysterio family.

Their long-running angle began way back in May and Rollins has since gone on to share the ring with Rey and his son, Dominik.

Murphy and Aalyah (Rey's daughter) have added further substance to the story with their on-going romance and most fans agree they've had some of the best segments and matches of the year.

The feud is far from over and it's not expected to wrap up until late December or January, but it seems Rollins will be absent for some of it.

According to Ringside News, the SmackDown star will soon be taking some time off WWE for the birth of his baby.

Although he and Becky Lynch have not publically disclosed when their baby is due, it's expected Rollins will be absent from TV in December.

Rollins will be absent soon

He is a member of SmackDown's Survivor Series team, so will be working the PPV later this month, but will likely take some time off shortly after.

It's also not known how long he's scheduled to be away from WWE

WrestlingNews speculate that Rollins will be 'staying home for a couple of weeks' but his absence shouldn't impact his current storyline, because there are several players involved in the Mysterio drama.

Rollins absence won't impact his storyline

Since arriving, Seth has been a workhorse for WWE and hasn't previously taken any substantial time off unless recovering from injury. His break will be well deserved.

Lynch, of course, has been away since announcing her pregnancy back in May, when she vacated the RAW Women's Championship.
