Plans for WrestleMania 37 are still up in the air. The event was originally scheduled to take place at the SoFi Stadium in California on March 28, 2021, but the coronavirus pandemic has thrown a spanner into the works. Although it hasn't been officially confirmed, WWE are expected to move WrestleMania to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida where this year's show should have been held. Since March, most of WWE's programming has been airing from the state, with most RAW, SmackDown and PPV events taking place inside the Performance Centre or the ThunderDome.  For WrestleMania though, Vince McMahon wants to do something different and according to reports, changing the venue isn't the only thing he's looking to do. WrestleVotes claims that there have been internal discussions about pushing 'Mania back a few weeks in order to get fans in attendance. "There has been internal discussions about moving the scheduled date of WrestleMania from 3/28 to 4/11 or even 4/18," they tweeted."The goal remains to have fans in attendance for the event. The thought process of moving back the show a few weeks only helps that out."

Of course, WWE's entire plan hinges on what state the world will be in next March.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, rules around crowds at sporting events in Florida have been far more relaxed than many other places.

That's partly why WWE decided to move its operation there in the first place. But things could change four months down the line.

Rules could be relaxed or tightened at any time and although WWE fans, performers and management are desperate to see a live audience return, it might be out of their hands.

Pushing WrestleMania 37 back a few weeks will give the company a stronger chance of getting a crowd in, but nothing is certain right now.
