Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna’s agent has moved to quash reports that the star is moving to Bayern Munich in the summer, telling German tabloid Bild that Sagna has not had any contact with other clubs.

"Bacary Sagna is a player of Arsenal and he is under contract with Arsenal,” Christophe Mongai said.

"At this moment there is nothing to discuss with any club. I am not actually in touch with anyone from Bayern Munich. This is a fact."

Arsene Wenger looks set to make some changes to the Arsenal squad in the summer, as the Gunners look set to go a sixth season without a trophy. Wenger’s role itself has even been the subject of speculation lately.

But though Sagna has been named as a possible exit, the French international has insisted that he supports Wenger and wants the manager to stay on with Arsenal next season.

"Everyone is 200 per cent behind him. I think he is the right guy,” Sagna said.

"He made a lot for the team, for the players and for the club as well. So we just want to keep working hard and give the maximum."

The 28 year old also payed down rumours that Cesc Fabregas might make a return to Barcelona, saying he expected the skipper to stay with the London club next season.

“He is under contract with the team. He is still our captain,” Sagna said.

"Unfortunately he was injured, but he will be back soon. We need him badly because he is a good player, he is very talented and everyone knows what he can bring to the team.

"So I am looking forward to playing with him next year."
