Arsenal striker target Gervinho has claimed he's being followed by Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.
The Ivorian international striker has been linked with a number of Barclays Premier League clubs in recent seasons, with Tottenham Hotspur joining Newcastle in clubs who have recently been monitoring the player.
Arsene Wenger is a known admirer of the Lille striker, and has had the player watched by Arsenal scouts on a number of occasions.
Speculation mounted last summer that the Gunners were to make a bid for the 23-year-old former Le Mans forward, while Liverpool were also thought to be contemplating a move back in January.
However, Spurs appear to be the latest club to show an interest in the player after the White Hart Lane took a trip to France to watch the Ligue 1 hitman.
"I have read in the French press and been told by a friend in London that Harry has been to watch me," he said.
"But, to be honest, I am only thinking about winning the French league at the moment. The transfer talk can wait until the end of the season."
Arsenal are believed to be in the market for another striker, with Wenger looking to add another attacking option to the ranks at the Emirates.
With question marks over the future of Nicklas Bendtner and the long-term fitness of Robin Van Persie, a move for Gervinho by Arsenal would not come as a major surprise.
However, their north London rivals are also in the market for a striker, with Miroslav Klose also thought to be on the Spurs radar.
Jermain Defoe has also admitted that he's unhappy at the lack of playing time with Tottenham Hotspur, whilst Robbie Keane's future is far from certain. Gervinho could be the answer, although competition is expected to be strong from a number of clubs across Europe as well as their rivals.
