Bolton Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside is expecting big changes at the club this summer.
After the club released a number of players, including Johan Elmander, how was out of contract at the club manger Owen Coyle has a job re-shaping his squad for the new season.
And Gartside is therefore expecting plenty of changes before the summer transfer window is over.
"What happens is going to be dictated by who comes and who goes," explained Gartside.
"You've got the natural decisions where five players were out of contract, loan players who'll return to their clubs and then the speculation about whether someone is going to leave, or who to buy.
"It's probably going to be the biggest change here for quite some time.
"Owen inherited a settled squad with very few out of contract. There was little room for change.
"This year that is going to be totally different because there may be a lot of room if players leave.
"At this stage there are a lot of unknowns, ifs, buts and maybes. But I think there will be big changes."
