Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler has dismissed speculation linking the club with Dover duo Ross Flitney and Matt Fish.

Hessenthaler signed both players, who are soon to be out of contract, during his spell in charge at Dover.

Flitney is a former Arsenal youth goalkeeper and served as an understudy in the Barclays Premier League at Fulham.

Right-back Fish came through the youth ranks at Crystal Palace and is widely expected to play in the Football League.

However, Hessenthaler insists the pair are not on his radar at present.

"They are two lads I brought into Dover but there has been no contact from us and there is nothing happening there," he told the Kent Messenger.
