After a flurry of goals in Porto's incredible season, Radamel Falcao is on the summer shopping lists of a number of clubs, while Arsenal and Tottenham are reportedly heading the queue for his signature.

The 25-year-old striker scored 33 times in 36 starts for quadruple winning Porto during the last campaign and has, hence, gathered numerous high-profile admirers.

Arsenal and Spurs are just two of the clubs said to be monitoring the progress of the Colombian hotshot who, according to talkSPORT, has a £25 million release clause in his contract.

Falcao has now responded to speculation linking him with a move away from the Estadio do Dragao, claiming he harbours ambitions of a move to one of Europe's leagues.

"It would be difficult to leave Porto this summer because the leaders of the club want to support the scheme of the team and reinforce the squad so they can compete in Champions League," said Falcao.

"I prefer not to read the press but I know I have been linked with Real Madrid and big English clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham.

"In Europe there are big leagues and I am at a moment of my career when I would like to experience it."

Along with Falcao, Arsenal and Spurs are both allegedly pursuing Lorient marksman Kevin Gameiro and Real Madrid star Gonzalo Higuain.

Meanwhile, Spurs have also been linked with a swoop for wantaway Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner.
