Newly promoted Southampton face Leeds in the opening day of the Championship fixture, while Brighton take on Doncaster and Peterborough face a tough match up with Crystal Palace.

West Ham will play Cardiff at home in their first match since being relegated from the Premiership, with Cardiff looking to start the season off well after just missing out on promotion this year.

In the remaining fixtures, Reading take on Millwall, Nottingham Forest face Barnsley, Middlesbrough take on Portsmouth, Coventry play Leicester, Burnley play Watford and Bristol City play Ipswich.

After the opening day, derby fixtures will take precedence on fans' minds, with Reading taking on Cardiff on November 19th, Millwall facing off with West Ham on September 17th for one of the biggest grudge matches in English football, while Portsmouth play Southampton on December 17th and Brighton take on Crystal Palace on September 27th.
