Everton will have to be at their best from the opening fixture of the the new Barclays Premier League season after it was announced the Toffees will play Tottenham at White Hart Lane on the first day.

Perhaps a relatively more straightforward task awaits David Moyes & Co. in the following four fixtures, with the north-west side having three home games before the end of September.

However, after hosting Wigan, Everton will travel to Eastlands, before facing Liverpool at Goodison Park in the Merseyside derby and travelling to Chelsea the following weekend.

Fulham come next for Everton, before they meet Manchester United, with neutrals hoping for a repeat of last season's epic 3-3 draw.

Other key dates for the Everton diary will be the reverse fixture against Liverpool on February 25, while Arsenal come to Goodison in late March.
