Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish is relishing the prospect of working with Darren Bent next season.
The recently appointed Villa Park boss is already looking ahead to pre-season training, and reserved special praise for the talented striker.
"Darren has got to be up there in the top two or three strikers in the Premier League," said McLeish. "His goals at Arsenal at the end of the season were incredible.
"Darren scored some really important goals at the end of the last campaign. He's been sensational since he's come in to Villa.
"He needs the right service because he's on the shoulder all the time he's ready to make the runs," he continued. "You just need the people to supply the ammunition for him."
McLeish also gave a brief insight into his plans for the 2011/12 campaign, as he prepares to welcome the players back ahead of the new season.
"I've got to impart my personality on the team - the spirit and the character," he enthused. "I can see that character in a lot of the guys that are already there.
"Richard Dunne and James Collins are seasoned pros. They should be the guys that are really leading the way.
"I want my players to be straight up and honest and give everything they can for the football club and for themselves.
"We'll work hard on training pre-season to try and click and make sure we hit the ground running."
