Barcelona star Jeffren Suarez is appealing to the Catalan club to sort out his future or risk losing him to England, according to the

The 23-year-old was reportedly meant to be part of the deal to take Alexis Sanchez to Barca, with the Spanish international reportedly set to head in the other direction.

But with that deal now reportedly off, Liverpool are on alert after Suarez's father, Efren Suarez said the player was seeking help from Barcelona.

"We want Barca to help to us with this situation," he said.

Reports suggest several offers have come from England, with the most attractive being the one from Liverpool.

Suarez recently won the Under-21 European Championships with Spain following a frustrating season at the Nou Camp where his opportunities were limited throughout.

After missing out on Connor Wickham, Liverpool are eager to bolster their attacking options this summer, and their pursuit of Suarez is unlikely to stop anytime soon.
