Blackpool have signed defender Miguel Angel Llera on a free transfer from Charlton.

The 31-year-old Spaniard has signed an initial one-year deal with the Tangerines, with the option of extending the contract if successful.

Llera has joined Ian Holloway's side at their training camp in Portugal.

He becomes the third free signing for Holloway this summer.

Former Barnsley left-back Matt Hill was the first summer arrival at Bloomfield Road and was followed on Sunday by veteran forward Kevin Phillips at the weekend.

Phillips joined following two seasons with Blackpool's fellow Barclays Premier League relegation-victims Birmingham.
