Plymouth have handed trials to former Barnet keeper Jake Cole and French midfielder Ladjie Soukouna.

Cole, 25, began his career at QPR before being loaned to Hayes, AFC Wimbledon, Farnborough Town, Oxford and Barnet.

The keeper signed permanently for the Bees after being released from Loftus Road, becoming their player of the year in his first season.

Twenty-year-old Soukouna is from French club US Creteil-Lusitanos and comes recommended to Peter Reid.

Soukouna previously had a trial at Brighton last April.
