Derby midfielder Paul Green expects to have a clearer indication of when he might be able to return from injury when he sees a specialist next month.
The 28-year-old ruptured an anterior cruciate ligament in his knee when he fell awkwardly during Derby`s 4-1 defeat at Cardiff in April.
He underwent surgery in May and is making steady progress in his rehabilitation, although the Republic of Ireland international is unable to put a timescale on any possible return.
"Right now, there is no timeframe on when I`ll be back," he told the club's official website. "I am going to see the specialist in August, so I should have a rough idea then of how I am progressing.
"The brace has finally come off now so I am able to move my leg a bit more, which I am obviously happy about.
"It's a long process but it is all about gradually getting some movement and strength back into my knee. I am taking it one step at a time at the moment, I don`t know when I will be running yet."
