Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Juan Mata will not be leaving Valencia this summer according to the club's president Manuel Llorente.
TalkSPORT is reporting how the La Liga outfit has issued a hands-off warning to all potential suitors by insisting Mata is not for sale at any price.
The news is likely to be a blow to Gunners boss Arsene Wenger who has reportedly had his eye on the Spanish U21 international following a successful summer outing in the European Championships in Denmark.
Arsenal today announced the capture of former Lille forward Gervinho, but Wenger is heavily expected to strengthen further as he bids to improve his Emirates Stadium squad ahead of the new season.
Rated as one of the brightest young wingers in Europe, Mata has attracted the interest of a number of clubs with the Gunners' north London rivals Tottenham also rumoured to be interested.
Harry Redknapp has been tracking Mata as he looks to steer Spurs back into the top four, but has so far failed to bring anyone to White Hart Lane.
But both clubs will now have to turn their attentions elsewhere as the World Cup winner will not be joining Arsenal, Tottenham or anybody else this summer.
"Juan Mata is not for sale," reiterated Llorente. "We have not received any offers for the player. The news that appears in the media is just rumours.
"We have a very good squad at Valencia and our priority now is to sign a central defender."
