Chris Mavinga looks set to complete a move from Liverpool to Rennes this week, with the clubs ‘agreeing a fee’ of £1 million, according to the Daily Mail.

Spanish side Villarreal and Belgian outfit Genk, where Mavinga spent last season on loan, were also said to be tracking the starlet, and as Kenny Dalglish begins a cleanout at Liverpool, the manager is hopeful of getting an extra £1 million in his transfer budget from Mavinga's sale.

Dalglish reportedly has a list of Liverpool stars on the exit list, with Milan Jovanovic hopeful of completing a move to Anderlechtm and Emiliano Insua set to head to Roma.

Liverpool have already spent over £100 million since Dalglish took over the reigns in January, though the £50 million sale of Fernando Torres will offset the large outlays.

And Dalglish will no doubt be looking at clearing out players who haven’t featured for the squad over the last season, and the Liverpool manager reportedly believes that in doing so he will be able to keep building the side to challenge for trophies in England and Europe once more.
