Lille have confirmed that they are yet to receive any bids for winger Eden Hazard.

The Belgian has been subject to interest from a host of European clubs, including Arsenal.

However, Liverpool and Manchester City, who are also interested, are yet to make a formal bid for Hazard, according to manager Rudi Garcia.

"We have not received any formal offer for Hazard, not from France or England. At the moment there is nothing happening and next season he will play with us in the Champions League," he said.

"It's an important element for the team and we hope to progress with him. For Lille this is great news."

With Gervinho having already been snapped up by Arsenal, Liverpool and City are reportedly both keen on the winger.

Despite having signing Stewart Dowing, Liverpool have their eye on improving their squad for the new season, while City, who missed out on Alexis Sanchez, are also keen on adding to their squad if Carlos Tevez eventually departs.
