Danny Batth has rejoined Sheffield Wednesday from Wolves for a second loan spell.

The defender impressed in his 10 games for Gary Megson's side at the tail-end of last season having made just one substitute appearance during a month-long stay at cross-city rivals Sheffield United.

The 20-year-old insists he had no hesitation in taking up the chance to return to Hillsborough. "It's good to be back," Batth told the club's official website.

"I got on really well with the lads last time and hopefully I can pick up where I left off.

"It's always an easy decision when you know the manager, you know the players and you can fit in straight away.

"I'm happy to have arrived before the season has started because you get that time with your team-mates and you can be part of those preparations for the first game."
