Canelo Alvarez stopped Billy Joe Saunders on Saturday evening in Texas to add the WBO super-middleweight belt to his collection.Alvarez caught Saunders with a devastating uppercut in the eighth round that caused major damage to his opponent's eye.Saunders saw out the round but his corner decided to stop the fight after assessing his eye."I think I broke his cheek," said Alvarez, per the BBC. "The truth is I knew it."I guessed in the corner and told my trainer Eddie Reynoso 'I broke his cheek'."One man who was absolutely loving watching Saunders quit was his rival, Chris Eubank Jr.The two fighters met in the ring seven years ago, with Saunders emerging victorious.There has been bad blood between the pair ever since and Eubank posted a video mocking his rival after the fight was stopped."What a wetbag!" Eubank said while hysterically laughing.

Eubank added: "Give me the £10k baby! Give me the 10k!"

That is a reference to a bet the British fighter placed earlier this week.

"The bet has been placed! Billy Schmoe Saunders to get cleaned out by Canelo Alvarez this Saturday. Oh... & the 10k I stand to win will all go to charity", his Instagram post read.

Eubank did not stop there.

He also posted a tweet challenging Alvarez, where he took the opportunity to mock Saunders once again.

"Canelo if you want a Brit to give you a real fight... I’m ready & waiting", his tweet read.
