Manchester United have stepped up their protests against the Glazers drastically in the past month.

After years of problems with the ownership, tensions reached boiling point when United were confirmed to be one of the teams in the European Super League.

Despite United withdrawing from the competition, that did little to dampen the anger felt by the club's supporters.

There was a protest at United's training ground where supporters blocked both entrances to Carrington.

They eventually dispersed, before a massive protest before United's game against Liverpool last weekend.

The match was postponed after hundreds of supporters managed to find their way onto the pitch.

These protests led to an apology by Joel Glazer in midweek.

Fans are sick and tired of the Glazers profiting from the club and many have made it their goal to limit the money they are getting.

And it appears their protests are working as, according to the Guardian, United have lost out on a £200m training kit deal.

It's been reported that Manchester-based company The Hut Group had an agreement with United on a mega-money kit deal. The contract was meant to begin on July 1.

But they had concerns about the supporters’ campaign to boycott the club’s commercial partners and have now pulled out.

They feel as if they could have been targeted by disaffected fans had the deal gone ahead.

Richard Arnold, United’s group managing director, was told on Friday that The Hut Group had pulled out.

With just over a month until AON's current agreement expires, United may struggle to agree a deal which matches the £200m that The Hut Group offered.

The Guardian reported last week that the Glazers have no intention to sell the club.

Maybe their stance will change should other companies pull out of their agreements with the club, as The Hut Group have done.
