‘Iron’ Mike Tyson, the youngest heavyweight champion of the world in the history of the sport, is one of the few members of the boxing world to not despise the Paul Brothers.

While the YouTubing pair’s move into the world of pugilism has been met with scorn and derision by most, Tyson sees only the dollar signs the two are bringing to the table.

Tyson even went so far as to say that Jake Paul, the younger of the two, has “saved boxing”.

Despite the healthy level of respect he has for the former Disney Channel star, Mike Tyson holds zero hopes of Jake Paul ever beating Floyd Mayweather. When the question of Paul potentially beating Mayweather was brought up by TMZ Sports, Tyson replied:

“No. He’s gonna get beat up pretty bad.”

Based on the recent altercation between Jake Paul and Mayweather at the Miami press conference for Logan Paul vs Mayweather, Tyson is on the money with this one.

Disgusted by the men’s antics, old Mayweather rival and former UFC double-champ, Conor McGregor, buried the situation.

In an Instagram post, McGregor said:

"The kid curled up, didn't fight back once, and Floyd is still running around acting the tough guy.

"The kid actually just pulled this shambles of a situation Floyd is in out of the drain for him. He should thank him.

"It's embarrassing! Pro to pro it's embarrassing.

"He will not scratch 10m for this fight and he knows it. It was cancelled once already. The world is watching this on Twitter. He'd fight a half decent pro and command 20m upwards, yet its this sh*t.

"Whatever way you spin this, it's sad. Fight someone for real, on your record, or f**k off mate. Slap head!”
While the 3-0 Paul has successfully KO’d two opponents, including former Olympic wrestler and MMA fighter Ben Askren, he is yet to face someone anywhere even remotely near the calibre of Floyd’ Money’ Mayweather or indeed, any professional boxer at all.

The same can be said for Jake’s older brother Logan who is set to fight the 50-0 Mayweather later this year.

In the meantime, Jake Paul has continued hyping himself up by calling out everyone from Tommy Fury to Kamaru Usman for future fights. It’s hard to envision either ending very well for ‘The Problem Child’.

Should Mayweather pick up the win on Logan Paul, physically the largest opponent he’s ever faced, will he have Jake Paul in his sights next?
