Former World's Strongest Man Hafthor Bjornsson has shed the pounds ahead of his huge clash with Eddie Hall later this year.
The two titans of power-lifting have been at each other's throats ever since Bjornsson accused Hall of cheating during the Viking Press to win the 2017 event and costing him his dream.
Winning the competition the following year clearly wasn't enough for Bjornsson, with the Icelander set to take on his long-time British rival in a boxing match in Las Vegas in September, with some labelling the fight the 'heaviest boxing match in history.'
It seems, however, the fight may not be as heavy as first thought, with 'The Mountain' showing off his newly defined physique.
Having all of the strength and the power is one thing, but to last in the ring you need endurance and stamina, with Bjornsson training hard to improve his fitness in recent months.
Having recently shared footage of his insane core workout in which a medicine ball was slammed into his abs, the Game of Thrones star's recent Instagram post shows the fruits of his labour.
Bjornsson now has a more toned stomach and more definition in his muscles, particularly around his arms and shoulders as he now weighs 155kg, or 24st 5lbs.
That means he has lost an impressive four stone since last year, when he lifted a ridiculous 501kg to ironically beat Hall's deadlift world record, which only added fuel to the fire between the pair.
Eddie Hall since then has also been hard at work in the gym, himself having slimmed down to now weigh 25 stone, although he has yet to have any warm up fights to test himself.
That's unlike his Icelandic opponent who has already drawn with Steven Ward in an exhibition fight and is due to take on Simon Vallily on May 28 before his showdown with Hall in what is sure to be a heavyweight fight like no other.News Now - Sport News
