Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones is 'disgusted' by the leaked training footage of Diego Sanchez and Joshua Fabia.

Sanchez's manager Fabia has come under fire just days after the first winner of the inaugural season of  'The Ultimate Fighter' was released by the UFC.  

A shocking video of the 'training' has emerged showing a blindfolded Sanchez being repeatedly kicked and punched in the face by Fabia while suspended in the air. 

As the incident continues, Sanchez can be heard crying out in pain but his coach carries on slapping him across the face.

Jones (26-1, 1 NC), a former teammate of Sanchez at Jackson Wink MMA, expressed his concern for Sanchez, and believes Fabia is 'the last thing he needs' in a now-deleted tweet.

'I am without words, really disgusted,' Jones tweeted. 'As a person that knows Diego, this is the last thing he needs.'

Former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor also took aim at Fabia after the video footage surfaced online on Friday night. 

The Notorious then urged Sanchez to distance himself from the controversial figure, before describing the disturbing scenes as 'preposterous.' 

'This is just madness. I’ll break this things nose in half. This not the move Diego, my bro. I been with ye the whole way, and still am. But this is not on. It was unfair treatment by commentary and fans on your last performances imo [sic], for sure. But not on this guy, 0-0,' McGregor wrote on Twitter (via The Mac Life).

'I’m actually on the side of body hardening work also. Working the body etc. But doing it hanging upside down, and getting the dome of the head struck repeatedly, while covering vision, is preposterous! Grab this guy by the ears and head butt him at his front door first thing.' 

McGregor also went on to comment on another controversial clip featuring Sanchez and Fabia that went viral on social media.

In the video, Fabia can be seen confronting a UFC commentary team during a fighter meeting over comments that he felt were 'disrespectful' to Sanchez in a previous fight.

While the Irishman admits he sympathises with Sanchez, he warned the American that his coach is only concerned about himself. His tweets have since been deleted.

He continued: 'I watched the engagement with the broadcast team with an open minded judgement and an understanding that there was disrespectful comments made against you. You were right to pull this up. But the other guy took over the convo [sic]. Made it all about him. This is not his story Diego.'

'Box his nose in and ditch him.'

As far as we're concerned, we just hope that Sanchez will somehow get the help that he needs.

Like McGregor said, getting rid of Fabia would be a big step in the right direction.
