Valorant has another new patch on the way as Riot Games continues to fine-tune its free-to-play first-person hero shooter.
Initially teased under the vague title of Project A in October 2019, the game was officially launched in June 2020 following a series of beta releases during that year.
Players can play as one of a set of agents, who are characters based on various countries around the world. Each one possesses their own special ability which can be obtained through kills, deaths or spike action.
As we saw in Update 2.08, it was a significant one that introduced Act 3, Episode 2, which operates in a similar manner to Fortnite with chapters and seasons.
Following on from this, 2.09 will bring the typical bug fixes as well as a brand new game mode to Valorant, providing more gaming options to avid fans of the series.
Here is everything you need to know about the latest Valorant update:
At this time, there are not been an official patch notes list that has been released. But we are aware that there is a new game mode coming which is called ‘Replication.’
Again, there is limited information regarding the mode itself, with players speculating that it could be similar to what we have seen from League of Legends ‘One For All’ where every gamer plays as the same champion.
We are expecting the next update to be released on 11th May 2021, which tend to be launched on a fortnightly basis.
We will update this article when more information becomes available.
