Dagenham have completed the signings of four players ahead of the new season.

Sam Williams, Richard Rose, Luke Howell and Kevin Maher have all signed deals in time for the Daggers' League Two opener at Macclesfield.

All four are free transfers.

Mahar, 34, has joined from Gillingham, where he played for two years in their midfield, while Rose was also at the Priestfield Stadium, where he made 58 appearances before signing for Hereford in 2006.

Midfielder Howell is another former Gills player, only playing once before moving on to MK Dons and latterly Lincoln.

Williams began his career at Aston Villa and after a series of loan moves finally found his feet at Yeovil, making 77 appearances in the last two seasons.
