Macclesfield boss Gary Simpson has no new injury or suspension concerns ahead of the home clash with Bristol Rovers.

Striker Waide Fairhurst was forced off after just 42 minutes of the opening-day 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Dagenham following a heavy challenge.

He has not played since and will be assessed along with skipper Paul Morgan, who has yet to feature this term.

Morgan missed the end of last season with a broken arm but is edging closer towards full fitness and may come into contention to face the Pirates.

Colin Daniel and Vinny Mukendi are sidelined through injury but Simpson's men will go into the match in buoyant mood after a thumping 4-0 victory at Hereford in midweek.M

Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle could make one change from the side that beat Northampton 2-1 in midweek.

Joe Anyinsah is a doubt after being replaced against the Cobblers because of a hamstring injury.

"I think it was more of a whack, he took quite a few whacks early on and did a real shift. His hamstring stiffened up but I am hoping that will ease out for Saturday," Buckle told the Pirates' official website.

Chris Zebroski took Anyinsah's place and could do so again if he is ruled out.

Midfielder Stuart Campbell is yet to make an appearance this season because of a hamstring injury.

The same applies to left-back Gary Sawyer who is still recovering from a hernia operation.
