Accrington boss John Coleman is hoping to hand a debut to new signing Padraig Amond for the home clash with Burton.
Stanley have signed the Irish striker on loan from Portuguese outfit Pacos de Ferreira and are waiting to receive international clearance in time for him to face the Brewers.
However, Kern Miller remains sidelined with a facial injury, fellow defender Leam Richardson is doubtful with a thigh strain and summer signing Danny Coid is nursing a hamstring complaint.
Coid is hoping to be passed fit to play as Coleman's men seek to bounce back from last weekend's 4-1 thumping at Port Vale, where the hosts led 4-0 at the break.
"We weren't good enough and we told them at half-time but I don't think we were good enough in the second half either," said Coleman.
New signing Billy Kee could make his debut for Burton after joining from Torquay.
Kee may have to settle for a place on the bench though with boss Paul Peschisolido poised to name an unchanged team for the trip.
The Canadian saw his side win for the first time this season at Southend last weekend with a performance that left him `proud` of his players.
The long-term injuries to Tom Parkes (broken ankle) and Nathan Stanton (knee) combined with Paul Boertien and Darren Moore being short of fitness could see the Albion boss attempt to sign a defender.
Peschisolido is also concerned that Andy Corbett is the only recognised right-back on the books at the Pirelli Stadium.
Injuries to Greg Pearson (infected toe) and summer signing Adi Yussuf (hamstring) have also left the Brewers without cover for first-choice strikers Calvin Zola and Justin Richards.M
