West Ham are weighing up a move for former Fulham midfielder Papa Bouba Diop.
The 33-year-old, a free agent after being released by AEK Athens, played for a West Ham XI in a 3-1 victory over Brentford on Tuesday afternoon.
Boss Sam Allardyce wants to beef up his midfield, especially with last season's player of the year Scott Parker expected to join Tottenham before Wednesday's deadline.
Senegal international Diop made more then 100 appearances in three years at Craven Cottage and also had a spell at Portsmouth.
Another trialist, former Spurs youngster Olumide Durojaiye, also played against the Bees.
