Wayne Bridge looks set to be about to do a deal with an npower Championship club, after Roberto Mancini admitted the left-back is ready to exit the club.
"I think that it is better for him if we can find a good solution in the Championship,” Mancini said of Bridge.
Bridge hasn’t featured regularly for Manchester City since Mancini took over the managerial post, and he is reportedly keen to get the 31-year-old off City’s wage bills.
And after Bridge spent some time at West Ham last season, Mancini believes the England international would fit well into a second-tier club.
Nedum Onuoha is also out of favour at City, but Mancini believes he will stay with the club for now, saying: "Onouha will stay with us because he is homegrown but he knows it is difficult for him to play often.
"We may find a good solution for him in the next two or three months, or in January maybe."
