West Brom defender Gabriel Tamas has been charged with violent conduct over the clash which left Norwich's James Vaughan needing hospital treatment.

The Football Association took action over the incident which occurred late in the Baggies' 1-0 Barclays Premier League win at Carrow Road on Sunday.

Tamas was given until 6pm on Tuesday to respond to the charge, which would carry an automatic three-match ban if accepted.
